Violetine were signed early in their life to Mushroom's 'Bark' label by music industry veteran Bill Page. The signing came after a handful of gigs, and following their recording of a 5-track demo at Hothouse Studios.

Over the course of the next few years Violetine toured the breadth of the country and released 2 EP's, 2 Albums, and a string of singles - receiving strong support from triple j, although significant commercial radio airplay eluded them.

Nonetheless, despite an all too brief active period, Violetine have left a significant imprint through the quality of their music. Laneway Music is excited to have now released their impressive catalogue digitally for the first time, and you can buy it through iTunes.
