The Mark of Cain are based in Adelaide and has been described as one of "the best and most brutal bands around". 

 

TMOC began in 1984, and feature brothers Kim & Mark Scott at the helm. They have released 5 albums and numerous singles & EP's, taking influence from the likes of Joy Division, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Big Black, Black Flag, Gang of Four and Magazine, as well as authors like Herman Hesse, Jack Kerouac, Colin Wilson, Fydor Dostoyevsky and John Fante to create a dark and brooding, intellectual take on post punk.

The Mark of Cain truly are one of Australia's great hard rock bands and we are proud to welcome them to Laneway Music.
