Seven Stories were an Adelaide rock band with two albums to their credit. In 1991 they were nominated for an ARIA award as 'best new talent' in Australia, however disbanded only a couple of years later.

 

In the early 90s Seven Stories were getting smashed on commercial radio all over the country with hits like Prince of Hollywood, Is That It. Unfortunately, as can happen with major labels, the band was a victim of a shift in priorities and they were dropped by Sony as they seemed on the verge of breaking through.

 

However, the Seven Stories catalogue remains, and is now available digitally through Laneway Music.
