Charlie Marshall & the Curious Minds is the latest musical project of Melbourne singer, songwriter and science teacher Charlie Marshall.

 

They are a unique band who fuse poetic science and philosophy with dynamic rock arrangements to produce music that celebrates the beauty and mystery of the universe.

 

Imagine a Pet Sounds era Brian Wilson collaborating with the BBC’s ‘rock star’ scientist Brian Cox and you might get some idea what to expect. Their new album Sublime contains a dazzling array of sounds that highlight distinctive, intelligent lyrics.

Charlie Marshall is the founder of much-loved Melbourne bands Harem Scarem and the Body Electric and is joined by Clare Moore (Dave Graney 'n the Coral Snakes), Bryan Colechin (Hugo Race True Spirit), Tim Deane (Ron Peno & the Superstitions) and Andrew Watson (Slow Dissolve) in the new line-up of The Curious Minds.
