Degenerates were a killer Australian rock band formed by Jamie Durrant (guitar, vocals), Julien Chick (bass) and David Klenjans (drums). They were nominated for Best New Talent at the 1992 ARIA Awards.

They formed in 1987 and released their debut single 'Out of My Head' in 1989, followed by an EP of the same name in 1991, and their debut album in 1992 'Play Dinosaur' produced by Kevin 'Caveman' Shirley.

By 1995 Degenerates had morphed into Box of Anger, and whilst they had a short time in the limelight, Degenerates have given us an impressive catalogue of Aussie rock music.
