City Sharps formed following revival of interest in this unique Australian sub culture. The four members decided that they were unimpressed with new bands struggling to capture the sound of the 70s, and decided to recreate it themselves.

City Sharps are Darren Spiteri (drums), Sam Biondi (bass), Tone Biondi (guitar) and Chane Chane (vocals) - the ex Sharp gang leader who was the lead singer of 'La Femme', the first punk band to play on ABC's Countdown.
