Laneway Music welcome The Hitmen, and Johnny Kannis to the family

Iconic Australian rock band The Hitmen have signed to Laneway Music for the digital release of their impressive and extensive catalogue.
Also joining Laneway is Hitmen frontman Johnny Kannis who has a long history of powerful rock music as the Johnny Kannis Explosion.
The Hitmen were brash, bombastic and inventive. They peddled a broad mix of metallic pop, flamethrower Detroit rock and re-vamped ‘60s standards, as well as their own wide range of originals.
With their roots in the ground breaking Radio Birdman, the Hitmen sought overground success and clearly influenced dozens of bands that followed in their wake.
Laneway Music will be releasing the complete catalogue of The Hitmen, Hitmen DTK, Niagara & Hitmen, and Johnny Kannis before the end of 2015 as part of the war against the jive!
