Psychotic Turnbuckles

The Psychotic Turnbuckles are based in Pismo Beach California, although they began their time in Sydney in the mid-1980’s after moving to Australia.

Taking inspiration from some incredible bands like Radio Birdman, Masters Apprentices, & The Sonics; The Turnbuckles became a favourite on the Sydney live scene playing with seminal Aussie acts like Beasts of Bourbon, Screaming Tribesmen & The Hitmen.

After a decade of killer performances and cult releases the band broke up in the early 90s before getting back together in 2012 for what was intended as a one-off show in Sydney. They have since played shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

With a discography comprising of cult classic albums including Destroy Dull City and Beyond the Flipout - Laneway Music is looking forward to releasing the Turnbuckles digitally for the first time before the middle of 2016.
