Lighthouse Keepers

The Lighthouse Keepers were an Australian indie pop band, with a slight country feel, formed in 1981 in Sydney.

Following the release of their debut album in 1984, the following year they toured the UK with The Triffids; they also supported bands such as Violent Femmes, Go Betweens and Jonathon Richman.

Throughout their career The Lighthouse Keepers released 4 albums and an EP. The band prematurely broke up in 1986 and have periodically reformed for one off shows.

Despite their all too brief time as a permanent group, they have left us with a great catalogue of music, one which Laneway Music is pleased to care for.
